Hawaii Five-O Inspires West Chester Youngster
My friend "the Child", started playing the Trumpet in 7th grade at North Junior High (now Peirce Middle School) for two reasons. One, was so he could play the Star Trek theme. The other, was so he could play the theme song of Hawaii Five O. Here's the video. And check out the kick ass camera edits. To see the video click the words: Tasty touch.

That theme song is second only to The Rockford Files. I think I've said this before, but it bears repeating.
I started to play trumpet in 7th grade but my inspiration wasn't as noble. I just needed an elective and the wood shop dudes kind of creeped me out.
But the 5-0 theme rocked as did the Superman theme!
Rider: the Rockford Files? It's fine for a few seconds then turns all Sanford and Son with the Haronica.
Chris: Agreed.
Bubble up.
Pa-ZAAAZZ!
a few days late. but it was "Lost in Space" not Star Trek. call up the Child and ask.
McGlinch. You're correct. I can now visualize him singing it and tapping his itsy bitsy foot.
