Some Dude Commented On My Eight Is Enough Post. TV Songs.
I love getting random comments on my blog from Anonymous people.
It's usually from people that don't have blogs but they find my blog through a Google search. And they're always pissed off.
For example, take a look at this post when I discussed the theme from Eight is Enough.
And here's the comment I got last night:
"No offense, but everyone who has made a degrading comment about the 8 IS ENOUGH theme song has done so for a lack of insight and are products of our seedy pop culture. The song was nice and so was the show. I'm a Judas Priest fan, for heaven sake, and even I can see that. Incidentally, in latter seasons I think they re-recorded the theme song and Goodeve throttled back on the vibrato and the song was'nt as hyper-pure sounding as it had been, and was better. And nevertheless, that show was your last crack at the wholesomeness of the American dream being prime-timed across your screen, so happy sailing if you really think that's a good thing. You freaks probably like hip-hop."
Uhhh. Yeah OK buddy.

He's a Judas Preist fan and apparently literate. hmmmm. weird.
Wow. A Judas Priest fan who recognizes hip-hop as an option. Now that's unexpected.
Man, what kind of list are you on to get Judas Priest fans? My anonymous commenters are usually just your run of the mill Chinese pornographers, and I bet even they look down on Judas Priest fans.
Who has time to get angry about the Eight is Enough theme song? haha I'm angry that they got to EIGHT before they thought it was enough. wtf.
that theme song would probably be better as a hip hop song you know, could take on a more ghetto edge about too many babies and gangsta daddies that ain't takin care of their eight...
To be fair, knocking 80's themesongs is up there with dyeing your poodle pink. It just shouldn't be done.
Who knew Judas Priest fans knew how to use Google?
oof!
Gage not holding anything back.
I like that.
don't worry 'bout it Zibbs.
Can't please everybody. Or, in my case, anybody.
Fact (because I say so): Now that the singer of Judas Priest is out of the closet they attract a much more intelligent fanbase. Just saying...
T-Ro - glad to see you back commenting on my blog.
Wasn't the lead singer for Judas Priest convicted for molesting little boys?
I think that comment only corroborates your claim. That guy needs to work on embracing his gayness. Maybe some lotion would help.
douchebag of the day award.
Vibrato? gay.
How dare you make fun of a theme song! Sacrilege!
Now, how having 8 kids is the "last crack at wholesomeness" is beyond me. You'd have to be ON crack to have 8 kids...
isnt is bizarre when you get a wild comment like that from a post that you did years ago. i sit and stare at it in my reader thinking, "who the hell does he think is ever going to see this?"
Dr. Zibbs. You need to know where to draw the line. I guess Grant Goodeve is that line for some people.
Actually, Judas Priest's music is rather complex, and all their fans aren't shitheads - They have double guitar harmonies driven over a classical scaled background in some cases. There's no hope for the close minded.
They should've contracted Judas Priest to do the Eight Is Enough theme song. Rob Halford's vocals would kick the shit out of Grant Goodeve's, mark my word.
I'm too tired to be clever. That's just damn funny. And of course, I never get the good trolls....just the Christian Gay-haters.
What in the world was he Googling? And what does that say about us that we are commenting on a post making fun of a commenter ... gluttons for punishment. We're just a bunch of masochists.
i bet he didnt here the Judas Priest version of Eight is Enough. complete with a solo from Betty Buckley
Jessica O - haha. I have no idea. And welcome to my blog.
He's doing it too ; he's putting tags on people, including himself ! OMG !
He : Judas Priest kinda guy
Us ; freaks and hip-hop lovers (better a freak than sad and nothing better to do than commenting on a 8 is enough theme..)
