So here's another Rocky Horror clip for you. I always thought the guitar riff at the beginning was pretty kick ass. As a matter of fact, the entire beginning is the best part of The Time Warp. I think they go a little bit overboard on the chorus. Too many people singing. That's just my expert opinion mind ye'.
(and if you want to see the version they did on the Drew Carey Show, click here).
So there you go everyone. My week's end song send off. Don't forget to check back over the weekend because when the other blogs are doing nothing - there's a party going on over here...In you mouth!..(big black lady holding palm out: WWHAAAAAT????)
Hello, my dear friend. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your clicks. I can't wait to click you, too.
Have an amazing weekend!
At last...no more trick or treaters!!
ReplyDeleteSpringsteen lives about a quarter mile from my house. People used to go right up to his door when they would trick or treat. I have friends (who are younger than me) who were invited in and he played guitar for them. He set up the whole elaborate Halloween thing to keep people at the gate. Security guards and cops would help give out candy and Bruce would be there dressed as a gorilla or a knight. It was cool.
I see him all the time around town. One of my buddies saw him at the gym recently and he sang with her 3 year old twin sons. She was so psyched.
As a Philly girl I still feel in awe when I see him.
Oh hell yeah! I love that song-and it is a cool guitar riff!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen the Drew Carey one so that was fun. I would pay to see you rolling down the aisle being pelted because that's just the way I roll, er, you roll.
ReplyDeleteSorry it took me so long to get back to your blog, dude. I got distracted. By distractions of a most distractive nature.
ReplyDeleteAnd my computer sucks because I can't watch videos on it =(
Caffeine Court - that's pretty cool. Why don't you stalk him and get some pictures for your blog?
ReplyDeleteBloody Awful Poetry - Thanks for coming back. I may buy you a new computer. Let me run it by my staff.
I hate to admit this but I have NEVER seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show. There I said it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Zibsy for giving me my first peek into an American classic!
I also hadn't seen the Drew Carey clip - fantastic!! Once again, thanks for pointing out where it's at.
ReplyDeleteIt worries me that I remember how to do the dance... "put your hands on your tits, no hips" Audience participation was the best!
ReplyDeleteKatrocket - you are correct. I know where it's at.
ReplyDeletei remember going to see this for the first time in 1975 - when it was released, before it was a cult classic - and i had no idea what i was getting into
