Shit like this scares me silly. My sister and aunt are both flight attendants, and ever since 9-11 any time I hear about a plane having a problem, I don't stop stressing until I know a-if they are ok or b-if it was their airline
At about the two minute mark you can see US Air Flight 1549 skid into the Hudson. Then, you can see the passengers climb out onto the wings. This video is 10 minutes long. Actual video of Flight 1549 skidding into the Hudson.
Been watching the ongoing coverage on TV. It appears everyone got out, thank heavens.

ReplyDeleteI hate flying as it is...I so don't want to see the Hudson that close up.
ReplyDeleteCan't you just picture Woody the Woodpecker laughing. I can say that because everybody is okay.
ReplyDeleteScary. There's one more reason for me to hate birds - you know, as if shitting on people from the sky wasn't bad enough.
ReplyDeleteI saw this on the ninemsn website when I first turned on the computer! Spectacular photos of the rescue!
ReplyDeleteSo lucky no-one was killed. Amazing.
