Chester County Blogger Tells Who Will Win Eagles Cardinals Game

As you know, I've successfully predicted the ending of the last two Eagles football games. I will now tell you who will win. It will be the Philadelphia Eagles. My senses are telling me that the score will be 17-9. Philly.

And here's what I'll be eating while watching. Make yourself a peanut butter and jelly and pretend that you're sitting there with me watching the game.

- Chicken wings - five different styles.

- Garlic and Feta stuffed olives.

- Pizza baguette - I will make this simply my putting tomato sauce, roasted garlic, pepperoni and mozzarella cheese on fresh baked banquette and broil it.

I will be drinking Yuengling lager - unfortunately - and may have a bourbon and water around half time.

What are you eating while you watch the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Phoenix Cardinals?

  1. I will be eating cheesy chicken enchiladas.

    With a side of doritoes.

    And Arbor Mist Sangria.

And maybe at half time, I'll use the ladies room.

  5. They can do it. Phoenix just needs to remember that they're THE CARDINALS!

I want a STEAGLES Super Bowl!

  6. The cheesy buffalo chicken dip is just about ready to come out of the oven, can you smell it? Served with Wegman's fresh baguette it doesn't get any better. Hopefully the Eagles will return from half-time determined to win this game and head to the Super Bowl. Thanks for the invite today, oh wait, that's right, we weren't invited. Don't choke on a chicken wing.

  7. How come all I get is the P&J sandwich, while you get all of that other stuff?
I had to work during the game anyway. I heard the Eagles were losing, what's up with that?

  8. I should have been watching the game, but instead I let someone (hubby) talk me into watching some stupid movie called Mirrors with what's his name (from 24 - my brain is dead and I can't think of it right now!). Anyway...it's a huge PASS.

Enjoy those chicken wings! I'm having lo mein mixed with veggies and homemade bread. Yum!

  9. Sorry,Dr. I missed the game but I heard Kurt Warner was amazing. I'm from St Louis, so I know the KW legacy. I was more in the Eagles corner, but you gotta love a Cinderella story. Just to stay in the food game, I was at a going away party eating chili and coconut cream pie.

  11. Are those cheerleaders in their underwear?? They must've forgotten to put on pants this morning, How very, very embarrassing for them.

  12. What's so wrong with Yuengling? I personally think it tastes better than most of the other lagers going. In fact, since grad school, Yuengling had been my lager drink of choice. After moving to NC, I used to usually keep a case in the fridge, ready to alleviate my frustrations of a lousy day in the lab.

In fact, I probably should have acknowledged D.G. Yuengling and Sons in my master's thesis (I did acknowledge Jimmy Buffet and Art Bell).

  15. Did you down that with a little side of Crow? Now Baltimore v Pittsburgh, looking like Pittsburgh is headin to the Superbowl, although I'd rather see Baltimore.

  16. Admit it, Zibbs, my prediction was *much* more accurate today!

(Yes, I know, it's not polite to gloat. Especially on someone else's blog.)

You can bow down before me and my superior football game prediction skills any time you like...

(Wonder how long it will be before Zibbs deletes this comment?)

...and wish my Cardinals luck in the Superbowl!!!

  19. If you have any money left, predict the Super Bowl! I think Pittsburgh, but would bet the Cardinals if the point spread was attractive...

  22. Sorry for your loss! I really am!

Think of it this way. Now Peyton and Donovan can kick back & relax, drink beer and do nothing!

    HAPPY MONDAY!

  23. So sad about the Eagles. Too sad to even discuss food - which is weird, given that I'm really a Cowboys fan. LOL

  24. I wasn't eating and drinking anything but crow, because I had the misfortune of attending the game in person. You will likely be able to read about it on my blog later today.

  26. I had a housefull all weekend. We ate wings, taco dip, crabmeat dip, and topped it off with prime rib and Yuenglings.
I'm glad they're gone, not only did the Eagles lose, I gained 5 pounds and in return have a broken shower, no left over prime rib, no leftover booze, a broken ceiling fan, a broken toliet and I missed the damn recycle dude.

    I hate company.
