  1. There is one person in the world who thinks Robin Williams is highlarious. That person is me. I have no excuses.

  2. I am sad for people that don't get Kathy Griffin's humor! I suppose you don't think Jimmy Kimmel or Sarah Silverman are funny either, huh?

  3. I agree with 90%, except that:

Dr Zibbs is an assclown, and they are playing a radio spot for Lisa Lampanelli because she's coming to town. They play they same joke over and over and now I just think she blows. Oh, and Conan sucks too. Where Letterman? And you're spot on about Stewart and Colbert.

  4. Oh wait, I'm sorry. I thought I was on a different blog.. I mean, that Dr Zibbs is one hell of a card. He cracks me up all the time. Plus he's quite handsome.

  5. I would disagree about John Stewart and Kathy Griffin, and would add Brian Regan to this list of folks that crack me up.

  6. Ha, I like how you snuck yourself into the funny list.

Where do you stand on Eddie Izzard? I think he's fab as a standup & shite as an actor.

  7. Kathy Griffin is a piss

  8. Tenakim - Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman - both funny.

Sarah - Yes. Don Rickles is hyesterical.

Southern Belle - Eddie Izzard - don't know him. Would have to look him up.

  9. Eddie Izzard is awesome.

I mostly agree with you, but Jon Stewart is now, and has always been, effing hilarious.

  10. Where would you put Bob Newhart? I'd have to go with 'not funny' or create a third category- 'funny like that friend's dad who'd try to crack jokes when he was taking you all to the movies'.

On second thought, just 'not funny'.

  11. God, FINALLY someone else thinks Conan O'Brien is funny.

I thought I was the only one!!!!!!!

*It's cute that you think your funny*

    HAPPY THURSDAY!

  12. Agree with Lisa Lamanelli and Larry David. Disagree with Kathy Griffin (she can make me chuckle)I adore and miss Mitch Hedberg and love Mitch Fatel...I guess I just find men named Mitch to be incredibly funny.

  13. The Happy Wanderers Rock! or at least Polka. Watching Eugene Levy's eyebrows undulate while he talks about Lutonia always kills me. SNL can't hold a candle to SCTV back in the day.

  14. 90% agreement rating... Ben Stiller- 2nd generation of not funny people- his mother and father stand-up routines were painful, and I was young.. Kathy Griffin has her moments of funny, but she is aging..

  15. I mostly agree, which shows that you have good taste.

However: Johnny Carson and Jon Stewart ARE funny. Stephen Colbert, Kramden & Norton, the Schmenge Brothers, and Archie Bunker are NOT funny.

Extra points for pointing out that Kathy Griffin is terrible despite the flak you're taking for it.

  17. I disagree with everyone on your Funny list...except for you, of course.

My all-time favorite Funny is John Cleese. He's a classic!

  18. MAKE THAT A BIG FAT "YES!" FOR RICKY GERVAIS! I LOVE HIM!

(okay, I'm done yelling at you now)

  19. I kinda like Robin Williams!!! He rambles on sort of like you do!!!

    See the connection there???

  20. I like Rita Rudner and Steve Martin. *sniff*

I also loved Mitch Hedberg (may he rest in peace).

  21. Eddie Izzard is funny in standup, and even funnier in LEGO.

I'm not sure about Eugene Levy. He's a bit "Bizarro" if you ask me.

  22. You should have called this post "Can of Worms"

Groucho, Phil Silvers, and Sid. Sir you have class.

    Don't understand Jack Black though.

  23. What's really funny is you are all saying who's funny and who's not. It's different for every person.

Sorry, I guess I have residual analytic thinking after the Beatle dream post.

  24. This is why I suck SHIT at trivia. I don't know a third of the names you threw out. Now if I had pictures...that would be different. So I'm going with "Yeah, just what he said!" And by the way, WHY IN GOD"S NAME IS MY WORD VERIFICATION PEEPI?

  25. Zibbsy- stop everything you are doing right now. Even breathing. You must, must, must watch everything that Eddie Izzard has ever done. He may be the funniest human alive.

  26. Did you ever see Ricky Gervais talking about Humpty Dumpty and all the king's horses? Oh God. I lost a pint of tears and cracked a rib after watching that.

  28. Good lists! Though I'm a bit fed up with Ricky Gervais now.

  29. mANY PEOPLE think Robin Williams is funny. You're just too used to his movies. check out his stand up.

the funny list is a good one. Larry David belongs at the top of that list. Funny Jews are awesome.

slopmaster also deserves to be on the list... you just don't know me well enough.

  30. Eugene Levy is great. I used to think Kathy Griffin was funny but she is waring on me.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Love Eddie Izzard

    Meh, on Ben Stiller.

If Andy Kaufman was still alive, I would stab him with a fork for his unfunniness.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Craig Ferguson needs to be on the funny list. He can replace Don Rickles.

I'd also move Kathy Griffin to the funny and replace Lisa Lampanelli.

Who's John Stewart? Did you mean Jon Stewart? If so he's on the funny list.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I gotta agree with everyone about Eddie Izzard. It's highly recommended to rent his comedy special "Dress To Kill" from the library next time you go. You will understand the genius that is Izzard.

I love Kathy Griffin and Jon Stewart, both are hilarious.

And I would have to add to the funny column Brian Regan (Great minds think alike, SkyDad!), Mike Birbiglia, Mitch Hedberg, Jim Gaffigan, and John Caparulo.

Also, Lisa Lampanelli? I'm really starting to question your sanity on that one. Not. Funny.

  34. Falw - I only have seen Lisa L on the celebrity roasts but she was pretty funny on there. And Jon Stewart is not funny.

  35. Lists only make you realize who you've left off....what no Mel Brooks, Peter Sellers, Richard Prior, George Carlin, Tim Conway, Eddie Murphy (1980's version) Trey Parker and Matt Stone?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I second everything Fal said. That girl knows her funny.
