I Hate Making Bad Food Ordering Decisions. Downingtown Wegmans.
Mmmm. Look what I had for an early lunch. In that container you got your...
- Gorgonzola stuffed olives.
- Feta stuffed olives.
- Artichokes.
- Mozzarella cheese
- Cherry pepper poppers (ham was used instead of proscuitto which should be a crime)
So I'm eating it in my car and got kind of pissed because you need something to alternate bites with all the salty/olive oily stuff. I usually get some almonds and a piece of crunchy bread or another type of cheese but didn't.
So then I found myself eating it and getting kind of pissed at myself. Kind of like when you go to a restaurant, meals come and you look at the person next to you and think, "Damn it! I should have gotten THAT!" And the person knows they made the better choice and is all, "This is REALLY good!"
"Oh good. So is this." (Yeah right.)
Oh well.
DAMN IT I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN SOMETHING ELSE!! *looks for someone to blame*
it looks very yummie ... the artichoke hearts remind me of the Summers I spent with my parents as a teen. They used to go to Juan les Pins, south of France. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteIt's true - a nice piece of crusty bread would go GREAT with that mix. BAH! You suck, Zibbs! You better make dinner count!
ReplyDeleteDominica - south of france. Sweeeeeet!
ReplyDeleteYou should keep a can of the spray cheese in your glovebox for just such an emergency.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, the food looks great.

ReplyDeleteHey, if you want us to identify one of our commenters you're going to have to be more specific that "weirdo." We mean, come on, have you read some of those things?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, it sounds like "Michelle" who we think is actually a couple of people. "She" is harmless but obviously has a lot of time on "her" hands and no money for medication--if you get our drift and we think you do--We blocked "her" a while back. Suggest you do the same.
Fred
I dunno what all that blither above is about, but my comment is about you Zibsy,
ReplyDeletetypical foodie...
I know EXACTLY what you mean. I'm the only idiot I know that will go to a Steak House and order a Chicken Salad. WTF ??

Yeah it seems I missed something with all the deleting and I can see why that kind of lunch would need at least a cracker or some kind of starch, but otherwise it looks YUM!!!!!! I thought the mozzarella was mushrooms when I first looked at it and I was all "Ick!" But that looks delish!
ReplyDeleteJill - you missed some crazy person leaving nonsense comments on my blog like spam.
