Worst Fight Scene, Kirk, Star Trek

So the other day I showed you the worst dancing in a music video ever. Now I'll show you the worst fight scene in a TV show. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you - Captain James T. Kirk from Star Trek.

And I can't for the life of me remember the name of the monster he's fighting here. All I know is that when I was in Vegas a while ago this monster was there in one of the hotels. I think it was Harrahs. There's a nerdfest Trek restaurant there.

  3. I think the scene should have started with

(In deep voice) And then the lotion show began.

Lots of Lizard nuzzeling going on there.

  5. Of course it's the Gorn. I could tell by the still before even clicking play that the episode is The Arena and the monster is the Gorn. I took a pic of Hmy sisterin Vegas with him. ;)

  6. Worst fight scene? Try worst tv show. Then again, I am a girl!

But The Brady Bunch sucked too...

    Oh well.

  7. Laughably slow. My husband said, "but you have to remember, that was William Shatner. He probably thought it was Shakespeare. . . Shakespeare fight.
My word verification is twingi, which is the cheese-filled fore runner to the twinky. It didn't sell very well.

  8. I don't know - I thought the slow-dance in the middle was surprisingly tender. Shatner has such range, you know?

  9. EVerything star trk is the worst ever. Who would even expect you to remember the name of the monster?? I bet there is some nerd on here that does... crazy.

  10. I'm sure someone told you already it was the Gorn. Remember how he defeated it? He fashioned a rock/diamond cannon out of some kind of bamboo-like plant with home-made gunpowder. Seriously.

  11. I'd like to know who was the scriptwriter..the 3 years old son of the director?
The whole scene it's really hylarious!

  12. That's hilarious for sure, but now I need to know who won that fight. This will haunt me for a while.

  13. I will confess that, "Yes, I too knew what clip you were going to show, and the name of the monster just by the title of your post."

Oddly, I feel no shame or disgrace. I also can reach out from my seat and touch an original series communicator and "Motion Picture" phaser.

Now I feel a little shame.

  14. HAHA!!! I love it at 1.38 in when the monster picked up the big rock that probably weighed less than an oz!!!

Plus at one point it looked as though they were dancing!!!

    Love this!!!

  15. Maybe the monster is 40 years old.

Because that's pretty much how fast I move.

Also - when did Star Trek and Land of the Lost merge?

    Sleestak vs. Captain Kirk?

    INGENIOUS!

  16. I somehow knew that was the one! Only a 7 foot tongue on the lizard could have made it funnier!

  17. Ugh...that was painful to watch...

  18. I do not know about the worst fight scene. I thought the worst fight scene was the cookie cutter Power Ranger episodes. That is a pretty bad fight scene, there. And the only thing that changes between episodes is the monster, so it all counts as one scene.

  19. I am coming back tomorrow to watch this video again. And I'm going to do it everyday for the rest of my life because it quite possibly might be the best thing I've ever seen.

  20. BAHAHAHAHHAHA HOLY CHRIST WHAT WAS THAT???

  21. I watched it without sound and I'm assuming it made a difference, because for me worst fight scene turned into best love scene! Kirk is just playing hard to get.
