Lady Bug Picnic on Sesame Street. Nice Kazoo and Jews Harp Playing.

Here's a Sesame Street song that will be stuck in your head. The catchy diddy "The Lady Bug Picnic".

And listen to the great use of the kazoos and jews harp. Well done.

  1. AND at the end you'll hear the slide whistle (my favorite) and a bike horn. ALL the crappy instruments were used!

  4. We have a Jew's Harp lying around somewhere. You could likely pick one up at any instrument store that isn't so snobby they don't carry cheap harmonicas, tin whistles and the like. It's not the most comfortable instrument to play as you hold it between your teeth.

  7. I happen to be a very big fan of "Ladybug Picnic" and all of it's hokey little instruments. It's just one of those happy little songs that you can't get out of your head.

  11. My brother is a musician, and he recorded a cover of this song for my kids. He said the hardest part were locating a kazoo and jew harp. Now hopefully a new generation will grow to love the ladybugs!

  12. I only have an Orthodox Jews Harp.

I'd play it, but those damn hair curls keep getting in the way.
