Revenge of the Nerds and Other Movies That Are Supposed to be Funny

A few movies that are supposed to be funny but suck:

- Revenge of the Nerds.
- Porkies.
- American Pie.
- Police Academy - especially the guy that makes all of the sound effects.
- Mrs Doubtfire
- Anything with Whoopie Goldberg.

  1. You forgot 'Faces of Death.'

I think I laughed maybe like 4 or 5 times.

    Rip off.

  2. im with ya except for American Pie.

while i wouldnt call it a classic or anything, i generally found it funny, and before it was fucking beaten to death, the BAND CAMP scene made me spit out my soda in the theatre...

  12. I thought police academy was pretty funny when it first came out but then I was only about 10?!

American Pie though (the first one, the others are pants) I found funny when it fisrt came out and still do now and I don't usually find american comedy films funny as the humour is too obvious and toilet (except those with will farrel in)

Please add to the loist ANYTHING with jim Carrey in it. He makes me want to claw my eyes out...stupid goofy man!

  20. If I was high enough I could probably summon up a chortle for those movies, but yeah...it'd take a lot of weed.

  21. I usually feel alone in having the opinion that Steven Spielberg's best work was the movie, "1941".

I'm also often alone in life as well....

  22. What no love for Lambada Lambda Lambda and Omeaga Moos?! WTF! Ok, I was 13 and they showed it on HBO non-stop, Revenge of the Nerds has a special place in my heart. That shit movie American Pie I tried to watch and gave up after 15 minutes, and I think Dude Where's my Car is GENIUS! and then...

  23. Obviously you weren't one of us nerds! But I'd also like to suggest that Napoleon Dynamite be added to that list. I hate that movie with a passion. Also Dumb and Dumber and Ace Ventura.

    Scary Movie
Hotshots (however many awful parts there were)
National Lampoon movies (except Animal House)
Anything with Chevy Chase or Rodney Dangerfield in
