Here's a song called "All By Myself" by Eric Carmen. A classic from the 70's, that for how corny, brings back memories. I'll be all by myself while trying to come up with nicknames for my readers (see today's post).
My good blog friend Gwen has a great list of old songs like this from the seventies that she just posted. To see her post - clicky here.
I had this on 45, and I played it into the ground.
ReplyDeleteZibba Zabba! (imagine the hand motions we discussed earlier)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. Be sure to stop by later - I'm on my way over there to add some more songs to the list.
That guy had a terrific white man's afro. I'm sure he was not all by himself for that entire year because he was getting laid so much. Then the next year he was by himself again, but nobody cared. Then his white man's afro receded, and still nobody cared. Then the guy in Dazed and Confused sang it in a prison shower, dropping the soap, and everyone thought it was funny again. God bless him.
ReplyDeleteDid that comment not read like The Giving Tree or something else by Shel Silverstein?
sadly this song makes me think of the movie Clueless...
ReplyDeleteI think James "Fire & Rain" Taylor would take him in a mixed martial arts fight.
