Ridiculous Shoes Found in King Of Prussia at Nordstrom Rack.

Check out these ridiculous shoes I saw at Nordstom Rack on Saturday in King of Prussia, PA. Of course they were in clearance.

Even a smooth brother couldn't pull these things off. If I were a brother this would be my reaction if I saw someone wearing these.....

"Ahh ahh AHHHHHH! Tyrone Whaaaaat? *covers mouth and points* My man got some GOOFY ass mothers on! Yes. He. Does. WOOOOO WEEEEEE! Looks like a mother fuckin' bowling shoe did it wid a God damn Bozo shoe and this sis the God damn offspring and sheeeeeeaat! Damn boy AHHH AHHHH!

*Circles shoe wearer and shakes head*

"I am sorry those things are just wrong on all levels. You be lookin' like a fool. Get those ugly ass kicks out of my sight! You're disrespectin' my peepers!"

Why Do I Have To Get The Ultimate Deal On Everything? Ipods.

One of quirks is that I always have to get the ultimate deal on things I buy. Here are a few examples:

Trek Road Bike-
- Cost to buy new: $1300
- My cost: $350
- I found it advertised in the paper. The guy only rode it a few times.

Weber Grill-
- Cost to buy new: $700 with all of the accessories (including the rotisserie)
- My cost: $200
- Found ad in the paper. The people used it three times but were moving to
Florida and they didn't want to bring it for some reason.

Craftsman Riding Mower
- Cost to buy new: $1300
- My cost: $350
- Found it at a garage sale. Super rich Dad bought for his son that wanted to start a lawn cutting business but then the kid "got lazy."
(The sad thing with this purchase is that I have eight huge maple trees in my yard with roots so it actually took longer to cut the lawn with the rider. So I gave it to my Dad)

It's great to get deals on big ticket items but it seems that I do that for everything. I guess I'm always afraid that I'm going to see it cheaper somewhere else then I'll dwell it.

The problem is that I used to spend so much time researching stuff to get the best deal I was spending a ridiculous amount of time. Hours and hours. So I've really been trying not to do it anymore.

So last night on Ebay I bought the 160G Ipod. Because my Ipod just broke. It cost $214.99. I barely researched this product. I didn't spend hour comparing to see if I could get it cheaper. I just did the "Buy it now".

It should arrive in a few days. And I'm hoping that it's perfect because if it's not, Ima be pissed. And of course go back to analyzing every purchase.

Please say a prayer.

How You Can Thank Me For All I've Done To Make Your Life Better. Shopping.

Look at all of the lives that I've changed with this blog. Including yours. Admit it.

Now there are some ads that I can't mention by contract on That Blue Yak but I can mention the Amazon ads over there on right. You see, if you click and don't buy I get nothing but if you click and then buy ANYTHING on Amazon I get a teensy tiny bit. And I deserve it.

So if you'd like to thank me - indirectly with money, please start your Amazon search here next time you need to buy something and I will appreciate it. You might want to tell all of your friends too. I'm worth it don't you think? Yeah. I am.

And whoever bought the Jesus lunchbox a few weeks ago thanks! Email me if it's you and I'll write a post about you. I appreciate it friend. And if it wasn't you don't email me and pretend it was you. I'll find out.

So by a show of hands, how many of you think you will use That Blue Yak as a portal for your Amazon buying? If your hand is not up, take a moment to reflect.

Gift Cards, Craft Brew, Deals and Chester County

I'm not sure if I'll be doing much Christmas shopping on Black Friday or even this weekend but in case I do, has anyone heard of any great deals at stores or online? I'm like one of the lady's when it comes to finding the ultimate deals on things.

If you're in the Chester County area, I know that Kildare's Irish Pub is selling half price gift cards until 7 tonight. I'll be picking up one of those for myself. Now if I'm doing my math correctly, that means that if I use the card during their happy hours I'll be getting $1.50 craft brew pints. Uhh huhh.

West Chester Blogger Reminds Readers About Stuff

Hey. TBY readers that have been around since July 2008. Remember that time that I wrote that really funny post about buying stuff like t-shirts and mugs that had "That Blue Yak" written on it? And I described the proper way to show people the shirt? Oh yeah. That was a good one. And those comments were classic.

For some reason though, my accountant hasn't given me the final numbers as to how many of these beauties flew off the shelves*. Imagine that task. No thanks. Anyways, even though you guys are the Gold Member Readers of my blog, I thought I'd give the newer readers, the Silver Members (readers since September 1), a chance to read this post.

So click here and start shopping. Imagine the look Christmas morning if you received one of these. Go ahead. Look out the window and really imagine it. It feels good doesn't it?

* True story that I forgot to tell you: Look in the comments of the July 29th post and read what Anonymous wrote. Remember the early days of Anonymous? Well, when I met him in person in West Chester, he said that conversation with his wife really happened! I shit you not.
