What The Hell?! Some Dude Is Driving Down West Chester Pike On Tire Rim!

So this morning I'm driving down West Chester Pike which is a pretty busy road. I hear this weird scraping. I look in front of me and some dude was driving down the road with no driver side back tire.

He was driving on the metal rim!

So I drive up next to him to take a picture so I can tweet it. Then I honk so I can tell him that he's a dumbass - and he's driving on his rim. But he doesn't look over at me. Then I just start laughing my ass off thinking about what the cop is going to say to him. So I get in front of him and slow down. He actually passes me. I started to follow him but I had to be somewhere but I'm dying to know if he made it do his destination or if he got pulled over.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Do you think he knew he was driving on the rim or he was just ignoring my honks? He did look like he was on drugs.

Also, would it have been wrong to call 911? It could have turned into a dangerous situation don't you think?

Oh, I would have called 911. It's on speed dial in my phone. I see more dumb shit in this town. Like the time a crotch-rocket-riding punk was passing cars going over 80 on the 30 bypass. I don't mean passing them normally, I mean passing down the dotted line and BANGING on cars with his HAND as he went if they didn't move. MDH got that guy pulled over and ended up testifying in court.

Then there was the famous Milkshake Incident. I had a guy throw not one, but TWO McDs milkshakes at my car on the PA TPK coming through the tolls in KoP. Took that ahole to court too. Cop charged him with "propulsion of missiles." I should start a blog with all of my traffic stories.

I call 911 a lot on motorists when they drive without headlights.

The tire rim sounds funny, I bet he was a big time loser.

Once, on Church street in West Chester, this Blue mini van pulled out of the public parking lot with a flat tire. I tried to flag the lady down but to no avail. About 20minutes later I was on the radio talking about the lady how couldn't hear the loud flapping of her front wheel when her husband, who turns out to be a listener, calls in and tells me she thought she had those "Run Flat" tires.

Believe it or not, but yes. Me and a buch of friend were on our way to Philly (Front St.) drag races during high school. We were on the Girard Point bridge doing 80 mph or so (being stupid kids) with a case of beer. Some dude in a piece of shit Nova comes flying by us riding on just the rim. It was night and sparks were flying everywhere. Think he was running from cops or something, and looked whacked out too. It was his front wheel, so I can't imagine he had much control over steering. We just kept going. Wow, Zibbs this could be our bonding moment. And no.. you don't call 911 and get into some drawn out court case that would only take up ( ie. waste)your time. Let the cops do their jobs.

If this was for real, you should call 911 ! You must ! Back here it's called negligence if you don't !

Weird. I soooooo would have called 911. If he slammed on his brakes because little kids were crossing the road in front of him that DEFINITELY would have gone badly.

My guess is he knew and just didn't care. I mean, how the hell do you NOT know you're missing a TIRE?!

So where's the pic, Doctor?! I wanna see this.

I once saw a guy flying down I-95 on his rim as well. It was awesome. 3a.m. coming home from a night out on the town and I see a car up ahead shooting out sparks like he was doing 88 in a Delorean. I pretended to be the Libyans in a Volkwagon van and leaned out my window pantomiming an RPG. He didn't get it.

I'm writing this as I wait in line at the Comcast regional office trying to get something squared away with my enormous bill. They have these lovely little internet kiosks. I figure I'm paying them like 1/3 of my paycheck a month, I might as well take advantage. Anyway I'm leaving you blog up for all in line to read. You're welcome.

Lolol!! I know I have seen stranger things, but how comes I don't remember? Oh well, must be because I have being in Georgia on my mind. It's a swamp. But you can drink the swamp water. Haven't been brave enough to do that lately.

Anyway, I have been blogging on all four blogs like crazy AND constructing a new website lately until I came here for a visit if anyone cares.

I have seen a lot of crazy things with all my driving, and wow, this one is a killer! I would have missed the lunch date or work for that matter just to follow him. Hell I would have even called the cops on him so that I KNEW a cop would pull him over. HA!
