Bam Margera Spotted in West Chester. The Note. Open To Drinking Invite.

Posted by Picasa

Look. Closely. I mean squint*. It's another West Chester celebrity - native Bam Margera from JackAss Movie fame. I snapped this shot outside of Sprazzo's in downtown West Chester.

If you're a fan or not, he's got a great new club here in West Chester on Market Street called The Note. It's a great place to see a band.

If the people at The Note would like to treat me - Dr Zibbs - to some free drinks in exchange for me sitting at their bar and drinking, by all means contact my people and I'll try to find some time.

The Note - Bam's Bar - In West Chester Tonight

So the weekend kickoff song is by Missing Palmer West. They'll be playing in West Chester tonight at The Note. Local bloggers JDizzle and Smoochies are gonna be there. I've never met them in person so it'll be pretty cool. If I go that is. I need to see if any of my lame friends can go out on such short notice. And of course I need to make sure my Zibbs skull topped walking stick is nice and polished. The blogger Kimmie also expressed some interest in going. I'd like to meet her too finally.

If you're going, the other two bands playing are Cheers Elephant and The Shackeltons.

And as for Gwen's Hot Blogger Holiday Hookup happening in Saint Loius this weekend, make sure to take plenty of pictures and make notes of all discussions that have to do with me.

Johnny DeFrancesco Power Trio at the Note In West Chester

The Johnny DeFrancesco Power Trio is at Bam Margera's The Note tonight (Oct 18) in West Chester. I saw them at Vincents Jazz and Blues * on Gay Street a while back and they're a really good power trio, playing lots of Cream, Stevie Ray Vaughn and other great blues and rock.

The other bands playing are Monacy and The Sermon.

And as always, I'll be on the lookout for any bloggers. I may even introduce myself so make sure to hit an ATM beforehand because it's going to be very embarrassing for you when you want to buy me drinks all night and all that's in your pocket are a few coins, a paper clip and a Wrigley's wrapper. Seriously, have some self respect.

*Did you know that Joe Pesci sang at Vincent's in the early 1980's when he was the lead singer for a Jazz band? It's a fact.
**Upon meeting me, until notice is given, do not look me directly in the eyes. Also, use common sense and perhaps others to gauge my mood. Don't come on too strong and always remember that I like to guide the tempo, tone and pace of all conversations. Other than that - have fun with it!

Weezer Record Song For West Chester Blogger

When Weezer said they wanted to record a song about me - West Chester's Dr Zibbs - owner of the amazing, award winning blog THAT BLUE YAK - I told them they could on four conditions:

1) They record 5 different songs and I get to pull the winning song out of a hat. The four losing songs be thrown out and never spoken of again.
2) They use the word "Beatch" (say: Beeey-aaattchh).
3) When they tour, they stop by Bam Magera's new West Chester club The Note and let me play tambourine. I get at least one solo and get to stand in front.
4) I'm referred to as the Fifth Weezer.

They agreed to all of my demands Here's what the boys came up with - I give you "Troublemaker" by Weezer (aka' ode to Zibbs):

For the record - I still think the lead singer looks like my neighbor Mike K.
