Coatesville Fire Arsonist Catcher Needs Parade Help.

As I reported yesterday, one of the arsonist has been caught in Coatesville, Pa probably thanks to me helping to spread the word on my blog. And in a little more than eight hours after releasing the story of the Coatesville arsonist capture, I received over 250 hits from people just searching for that story.

That's the beauty of keywords.

And do you know what all of this mean? Coatesville is probably going to throw me a hero parade. And guess what? I'm going to let you guys help me plan it. Here are some of my parade demands/suggestions as a local hero that I'd like to see in my parade.

- The "Coatesville 'Here Comes That Hero' Parade" route should start with tiny animals and the animals should get larger as they lead back to me. For example at the beginning of the parade there will be mice, then squirrels, then small monkeys, ..............then me on an African elephant. I would also like to have at least three tapirs.

- I would like my hero outfit to be completely covered in feathers and sequins but if it looks gay at all I will not wear it. So this is going to be a design challenge.

- I want a major rock band playing on the parade route (not Coldplay) and when I'm in hearing distance I want them to play "Don't you know that you're my hero?"

- I want a few boxes of Snickers and Three Musketeer bars - the fun size - that I can throw out to my fans.

Please add your suggestions for my Coatesville hero parade demands in the comments area.

Coatesville Arsonist Caught. Coatesville Fire Setter Was A Teen.

Breaking News: Busted! According to slackers at My Fox Philly, a teen has been arrested for seven of the fires in Coatesville. As previously reported here on That Blue Yak, there have been 23 arsons in Coatesville since January 1.

Since the arsonist was caught shortly AFTER I posted my story and I called for his capture does that mean that I somehow helped with his capture? I would have to say yes.

Coatesville Fires, Arson and The Bloodhound Gang.

What motivates someone to be an arsonist? The big story here in the Philly suburbs is the string of fires that have been set in Coatesville since January 1. There have been 17 fires. 17! Nobody has been hurt thankfully.

Don't worry, I'm about 10 miles from Coatesville and I rarely go there because its pretty dumpy. The downtown that is.

Last week the Guardian Angels arrived in an attempt to help and Coatesville has just declared a State of Emergency. Unbelievable. I hope they catch the dopes that are setting these fires. My guess is that the Coatesville fires are being set by gangs. Gangs in Chester County. Ridiculous.

And I mean no disrespect but everyday when I pick up the paper and read about the arson, "Fire Water Burn" AKA "The Roof is on Fire" song by The Bloodhound Gang goes through my head. So here it is.

Tell me this isn't a catchy song. Go ahead. I dare you.

Wegmans, Robbery, Busted! According to the January 28th issue of the Daily Local News, a Coatesville man "entered the Downingtown Wegmans Market, filled the liner of his jacket with frozen shrimp and exited the store without paying." The Daily Local News says that the Wegman's store employees then followed the 28 year old into a parking lot and found two bags of shrimp with a combined value of $84 hidden in his jacket.

OK dummy, a few points:
- Don't go into MY Wegmans and be "crime-in" up the area. If the Wegmans "eye" gets a bit nervous - some - not me mind you, but some won't be able to throw an extra wing or two into their box at the chicken wing bar. Let's keep that cool.

- If you're going to steal, don't be a dope! "Frozen shrimp?" Puuleeeaaase! Do you know that Wegmans has 15 types of sausage including 4 andouille variations? Did you consider a few wheels of Asiago Cheese wheels? Do you know what you can get for them on the streets of Coatesville? Did you ever hear of the "Coatesville Cheese King of Star Alley." Read your Coatesville history my friend.

- And lastly, do you know that Wegmans Downingtown stands no further than two football fields away from the ashes of the sacred Downingtown Farmers Market? You will be haunted my friend - you will be haunted.
