George Thorogood. Bourbon Scotch Beer. Great Party Song.

George Thorogood grew up about 30 miles from here. I never met him but One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer was a regular song that we'd pop into the car cassette player back in the day.

And it's today's Friday Send Off Song - dedicated to The Devil's Daughter in Law and Former Fat Chick. Thanks for commenting on TBY.

Is anyone a fan of this song or these blogging gals? Go ahead - tell me your answer in the comments region. Don't be afraid.

Hysterical Futuristic Robot World of Tomorrow Vision. Video Fun.

People often say, "Dr Zibbs, where do you find these great videos?"

Well I've said it once and I'll say it again.: Skylers Dad is the master of finding the funniest videos. So much so, I'm considering having those words embroidered onto a pillow, then sending him a photo of the pillow. As a thank you.

Do you want to see a video about the world of the future? With tons of mentions of "robuts"? Sure you do.

Then check out this video and see what had me laughing hysterically this morning. And follow his blog while you're at it!

Please. Tell me what you think of this video.

Friday. Lilu. Steve Miller and The Joker Video. Memorial Day.

I hope you're all drinking by now on this Memorial Day Weekend.

The Friday Send Off Song goes to Lilu who has just landed in New England for the weekend. If you haven't seen her blog or aren't on her Twitter list you should get there because she's hysterical and she's on the way to building an online empire.

So enjoy the "uncomfortable to look at" Steve Miller singing The Joker. Remember when Homer sung this?

Blogs, Link Love, And How To Make Friends In The Blog World.

I've been blogging for a while. And I've always made it a point to write posts about other blogs that I like. Most people that have been reading my blog for a while know that I've been really generous when it comes to the amount of bloggers that I link to in posts.

And it's not just so they'll link back to me. Even though they do. I really do love to watch a blog that has nobody reading it start to grow. And even though I write all this crazy stuff, I love the people that are writing these posts. It's such a part of my life now. Nothing like being out and around and having a bunch of comments to read on my blackberry.

It took me ages to have people read my blog. If you look at the early days of my blog - nobody was reading it. Nobody. I'd write a post then ask, "What do you think?" (cricket, cricket) But all it really took was to start commenting on other blogs.

So here's a post from Candy that really made me feel great. Really great. To view it, click here.

And on a related note. Are you a lurker or someone that hasn't left a comment in a while? Go ahead, leave one now.

TBY Friday Send Off. Broom Crafts. Bobby Darin Beyond the Sea.

I'm going to ask you to do something a bit unconventional here:

1) Get two brooms and duct tape them into the shape of a cross.

2) Drape some manly fabric over the horizontal broom.

3) Tape a photo of a celebrity that you think looks like me - upside down - onto a bucket and place it on the top of the vertical broom.

(pause and go get your dancing shoes)

Now after saying, "I dedicate this song to new time reader and funny commenter Samsmama and my great blogger friend Fancy "Claven" Schmancy "- (one of my favorite smart asses in the blogosphere). ...pretend that the ridiculous contraption you made is me and start dancing with it to Bobby Darin singing "Beyond the Sea"

Various Things About Bloggers That Read TBY. Link Love.

Here are some random things about some bloggers that read my blog. Maybe I'll make this a regular feature. Please visit their blogs and tell them Zibbs sent you. Remember, the more we mention each other's blogs, the more popular our blogs become. But of course it makes much more sense to mention a blog like mine - because it's a famous one. Choose wisely.

- Wendy B is a sweetheart and I love her smile. And she's a great jewelry designer.

- Earl and Slyde are two dudes that are as close to my group of real life guy friends that I know in my blogosphere.

- Ask Alice - is someone that has been absent on TBY for ages but I'm glad she's back. It kind of bums me out the number of people that have dropped out since last fall. I hope she's back for good.

- Jill from Caffeine Court is a long time reader. We're the same age and she went to a neighboring high school. I'd be surprised if we didn't meet within the next year. She lives in the same neighborhood as Springsteen you know.

- I think Scandalous Housewife is sexy. I'm glad that she decided to finally comment on my blog after I guilted her into it.

- I'm offering to help Shawn with her saggy boob issues. Except it's going to be really hard to help without seeing them. I'm a doctor damn it. Maybe she could do one of those construction paper silhouette deals that 1st graders do of their big ass heads. At least it would be a starting point for my diagnosis.

So are any of you fans of any of these bloggers? Also, do you want to be like me? Why don't YOU write a blog post about some other bloggers. Might as well start with highlighting me..just in case you're nervous and all.....

Breaking News. Someone Bought 2 TBY Mugs. Feed the Ogre.

It's true! Someone bought 2 That Blue Yak mugs from here:

buy unique That Blue Yak gifts at Zazzle

Was it you? Maybe it was you? Or perhaps (looking around)....wait....was it YOU?

Seriously, was it you? And don't lie.

And my good real life friend McGlinch from Feed the Ogre did the design a long time ago so check out his blog if you want to see a great music blog that talks about music (half of which are groups I've never heard of).

But check out his blog anyway and tell him I sent you because he promised me a few sips of the $6 he made off of the mugs he sold. Maybe I'll get a full beer if he gets enough visitors.

And if you're wondering why he gets the money from TBY stuff it's because he did the art for free and I told him if I ever start selling a lot of stuff I'll just dump him. It happens.

Now go and buy some TBY stuff. Thanks.

West Chester. Blogger Meetup. Guinness. Kildare's.

So as you saw from my gripping Twitter Tweets on Friday I met with Swedish Chef at Kildare's in West Chester and a special guest blogger that met me for the first time - Andrew aka "Arod 138".

We had a great time in West Chester AND he even gave me a Guinness t-shirt that he won there. Probably because I was complaining like a baby how I didn't win. And I guess it's a good thing that I didn't win because the winners got their photos taken with the Guinness girl and then my identity would be splashed all over the internets. So to read Andrew's take on the Happy Hour, click here.

Exotic Dancer Interviews Me - The Blog World's Dr Zibbs.

As I mentioned about two weeks ago - I love the blog of Prunella De Ville. She's got such a great sense of humor and she just cracks me up.

And she recently reached out (or reached around) to me via email and she's as fascinating in email form as she is in blogger form. And she also gave me one of the best compliments a blogger has ever given me - she went into detail about how funny my writing was - it made me feel great. God, don't you people know that the quickest way to my heart and maybe into my pants is compliments?

So if you want to read a hysterical interview of me (especially the picture she paints in the preview) - hold onto your hats and click here.

And I love the image of me as a 400 year old vampire/werewolf hybrid. Sweet. I mean....it's an accurate description. That's what I meant to say.

Who Would Like To Interview Me? - The Blog World's Dr Zibbs.

I am now opening up the lines for 2 people that want to interview me as I did a few weeks ago. If you do want to interview me:

- Email me saying: "I want to interview you" in the subject line.
- When I give you the OK, you can then email me up to 10 questions. I will answer these questions. I have the right to say "not tellin'"
- Note that I will NOT be coming to your home.
- You will then post the interview on your site on Wednesday and I'll link to it.

Please look at my comments section because when I write, THE LINES ARE CLOSED - the two spaces are taken.

And the crying can start. Good luck!

Friday. Buffalo Springfield. Neil Young. Phoenixville PA. Trash.

So as I'm cruising my ass down Route 113 from Phoenixville this afternoon with the windows down - Neil Young came on. I was gonna throw trash out the windows to keep with the times of the song but then decided against it. I'm green man.

So here is Neil Young when he was in Buffalo Springfield. Crank it up Holmes!!!

And I hereby dedicate the Friday Send Off Song to Lana and Brian . And I encourage you to visit their blogs and I thank them for visiting my blog and commenting. By doing so, they must be wise and cool.

211 people that will not be burning in the horrible pits of hell strong. Are you a follower of my blog? You better because it's hot down there brother. Wayyyyy hot.

Blogger Does Video of Putting On Makeup.

So check out this video of the blogger E. I'm a long time reader of her blog and she's read mine for a while too.

Great to finally see her. (Even though she has shown a few clips but none this revealing).

While you're there, make sure to follow her blog because it's a good one.

Sham Wow and the Cock Shot. Hysterical Video.

The blogger Skyler's Dad is the best at finding the most hysterical videos.

Bulls on Valley Creek Road In PA, Foxy English Blogger And Other Stuff.

Posted by Picasa

Just a few various things:

- The picture above shows two bulls. I took the picture on Valley Creek Road near West Chester. I made it black and white to show you how artsy I can be. I wonder what those bulls are thinking about? I took this picture recently when I was with my son. We called to the bulls to approach us but they just looked at us.

- You think I'm an important blogger because I have 204 followers? Well look at Vodka Mom with 674 followers as of this moment. And she's so great that she gave little ole' me not only a shout out but a huge temporary picture and link on her side bar. I guess I AM more important than I thought. AND she claims to give BJ's on her porch!

- I like Twitter better than I thought because I can just write random thoughts. Look on my sidebar at some of the crazy things I wrote so far. I wonder what I'm going to come up with next. Click "follow me on Twitter" if you dare. As a reminder these gems will soon be available only through Twitter and not visible on my blog.

- One of the blogs I've been reading lately is called A World So Small by Girl Interupted. Talk about a great sense of humour (note UK spelling)! She's hysterical! She's Dr Zibbs endorsed! I'd love to meet her. I'd like to kiss her on the lips.

- I'd like to also thank Jeannie for all of her recent comments. And also Shawn. Thanks for all the comments. I really appreciate the comments from all of you bloggers.

Except for that one person.

Earth, Wind and Fire. The Elements. Greetings From West Chester. Funk.

TFI Friggin F! First of all, you might notice that I've moved to a new level on my That Blue Yak domination of the blog world as Gwen pointed out. I have 200 followers (holds hand up and waves in a Miss America/Pope hybrid wave). Please - take a note from Gwen and make a big deal out of every milestone of mine.

And I'd like to send the Friday Send Off Song to these bloggers:

Kimmie - a West Chester blogger that I haven't met in person but she emailed me last week and I just couldn't make it. I want to meet her within the next few weeks. And not to creep her out but I actually walked by her house today and was going to take a picture and email it to her but I thought that might creep her out. (But imagine printing that out and framing it. It would be priceless).

Phat Momma - New commenter. Funny comment today. Check out her blog.

And the song is from Earth, Wind and Fire. For those that don't know me, I loves me some funk. Damn it I would grind the hell out of you to this song (chicks only). The song is "September". Yeah. You know this one. One of these days I'm going to get in a disguise and dance for you people because I swear to God you would love to see me dancing to this. I'm not kidding you.

Famous Blogger Answers Questions Through Blog Interviews.

So the other day when I asked if three bloggers would like to interview me (for free), it only took an hour for the jobs to be filled. To read the Dr Zibbs interview transcripts from these bloggers, visit their blogs. Forget the Frost Nixon interviews. This is where the action is.

And while you're there, you might want to become a follower of their blogs as well. The blog interviewers and the fascinating interviews can be found at:

Words, Words, Words from the blog Untitled Blogger Project.

Brandi from the blog Excess Baggage.

Sass from the blog Are you Sassified?

And thanks to them all for this. It was fun. Because of the amount of other interested bloggers I'll probably do it again really soon. So make sure to check back frequently so you don't miss out on this exciting, life changing chance.

George Michael, Faith and Cover Songs. Wait. Did I Say Faith Yet?

So my Friday Send Off Song live from Chester County PA is Faith. Since the George Michael versions can't be embedded on my blog, here's a cover that I found on the Youtube from some girl named Reina Del Cid. She's got some chops on her.

And the Friday shout out goes to:

Dedene - a reader from France.

Miss Amy - from the blog Finding Miss Amy.

JadedJ - from Banquet of Consequences.

So if you have faith in this blog, stop back this weekend to see various posts about local things as well as videos I'll be posting in attempt to blatantly get as many hits for my blog as possible using luring titles, content and tags.

Listen To This Voice Mail - The Sistas On My Snapvine.

Do you want to HEAR something funny? You heard me right. You must listen to my Snapvine recorder now. The message is from Sista #1 and Sista #2 from the blog Holy Crappers. #1 lives in the burbs of Philly and #2 lives in sunny, sunny Florida.

They left me the voice message that you can hear on my Snapvine Recorder (see my sidebar) and I've got to tell you that I sat with a shit grin on my face while I listened to it a few times. Hysterical! It's ego stroking goodness made my day.

I think it's great that they had the courage to leave me - Dr Zibbs - a message. You see, I'm a person just like you. I put my pants on the same way. One leg at a time. Unless I'm doing my imitation of that Brook Shields jean commercial. In that case, I'm on my back and I put both legs in at the same time. But you know what I'm saying.

The Sistas have been around since my early blogging days - June 2008. Before that, there were very few readers. Anyways, check out their message AND their blog. And why don't YOU consider leaving me a voicemail message.
