Cameron The Blogger From Illinois and West Chester Swedish Chef.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. Cameron the blogger is one of the funniest bloggers out there. Especially his comments on TBY. Check this out.

His sense of humor reminds me a bit of a fellow blogger Swedish Chef. Maybe they're related because if you go to their comments on TBY, print them out, mix them up in a barrel and pull them out - you wouldn't be able to tell who is who.

Go ahead. Try it. You'll see.

Dr Zibbs Interviewed By Kansas Nurse Blogger.

Shawn from the blog Kansas Chaos was the first win an intreview with me this week. To read it click here.

She leaves some funny comments on my blog too. So check it out. I'll be posting the 2nd interview later so don't forget to check back.

And don't cry because you didn't win the chance. Maybe you'll win someday. The odds are very high but you must believe.

Topsy Turvey Sales. So Close - Yet So Far Away. Tomato.

Whoa! Look at the Topsy Turvy upside down growing bag on my sidebar. Growing tomatoes upside down? Huh?

And it works too. Have you seen the commercial? One blogger told me she bought one this weekend at Kmart and another blogger told me she MIGHT be buying one from me. I couldn't make this stuff up. So close yet so far away.

Do you know what it means for you though? You could be one of the first people to buy the Topsy Turvy from That Blue Yak. And if you do, I get something like 30 cents. And if you're on the line about making the purchase I want you to know that when I spend that 30 cents I'll be thinking about really sick children. In YOUR honor!

So what are you guys growing in your veggie gardens this year?

And here's my veggie garden tip of the day: "To keep deer away, I like to make a mixture of soap and Tabasco and spray it on the leaves. I also grow some mint and clip it and string it around my garden fence. If you have a wolf or a bear, try chaining it to your garden fence. That should work too".

Blogger's Choice Award. Who Wants To Nominate Me?

So if you click here - you can see the Blogger's Choice Awards. I was going to nominate yourself but I don't want to look like one of those people that tries to promote his blog.

..hahaha - not that YOU guys don't know that. I'm thinking about the potential future bloggers that might be reading my blog.

So does anyone want to nominate me? If you do, it'll say right there on the page that YOU were the person that nominated me. And you will hold a special place in my heart until the end time.

Girl Interupted Makes Me Happy. And Prunella DeVille. Blog Love.

I've got a very important announcement. I've got to tell you that I love blogging more than ever. And I love the people that reach out to me. Not all of them. Some will reach out and I'll pretend that I never got their emails. But then there are the super stars that have blogs that are so great and their comments are so funny that I really wish I could meet them in real life. One is an English blogger I've mentioned recently called Girl Interupted. In a recent post she wrote:

"Dr Zibbs of the infamous That Blue Yak ... because there's no denying it, he's quite simply "The Daddy" of all bloggers and no respectable blog-party would be seen dead without him in attendance ... plus he wouldn't want to miss all the pudding-wrestling "

What a wise gal. The link to the post is here. And I may steal the idea she did for this post because it's great and I was kind of thinking about doing a similar post anyway.

Then, you've got the blogger Prunella DeVille. Also hysterical but has a different style.

And do you know what? They're both beautiful! Funny and hot. Do you know how rare that is? It's the deadliest combination that I know of.

I just really love when bloggers reach out and say hi. Especially the super talents like these two.

And on a side note, there are many blogs that I read that aren't funny, they're just really interesting. Which is great too. It just so happens that these two are super interesting AND funny. If you don't go and bookmark their blogs now - you're crazy.

Pete's Car Wash IN WC Forces Man To Scream

Posted by Picasa

So on my last post the West Chester food blogger with the great hair that I love Kimmie - (and I'll be meeting her in real life soon) - said I should spend $3 and get my car washed. There's a $3 car wash right on Market Street in West Chester. It's called Pete's Car Wash.

And it's a perfect segway into the the real life picture that is me inside Pete's Car Wash in West Chester.

I'm not lying when I tell you that when I go through car washes sometimes I like to scream and act out like the huge things that slam down are like monsters tentacles. Like if it were a movie or something. I guess that if you're with a few people and you do it that it's pretty funny but some people might say that if you do it yourself that it's kind of weird. See - and some of you people thought I was really normal.

At least I keep myself amused.

I May Stop Reading Your Crappy Blog. Knitting Suggestion.

I will get right to the point. I was talking to my blogger friend Falwless the other day and we were talking about how many crappy blogs there are. Honestly, there are some real boring blogs clogging up the world wide world of the internets. And one might be yours.

Now I'm not saying that all blogs have to be as great as mine. Or like mine. That would be impossible. You also need to find your own style. But take a look and ask yourself, "Should I end my blog and maybe find another hobby? Like knitting?" Be honest with yourselves. Step back and really take a look. And don't ask friends for help. They'll lie to you.

(Take 5 minutes for honest reflection then continue reading).

I'm just saying that personally, I'm reading way too many blogs and some of them are just terrible. Terrible boring waste of my time. And I feel guilty by not reading your blog so it might be easier for me if you just end it now. But please continue to read my blog. Which is one of the really good ones - as you know.

Also, if you have some great blogs that you can tell me about please - leave the name in the comments section. It might mean I'll stop reading your blog but thems the breaks.

On a related subject, don't think that just because I don't comment on your blog doesn't mean I'm not reading it. I've really cut back on commenting over the last few weeks. And there are some blogs that you would never guess I'm reading. Some of you have even said that you think your own blog is crappy but I still like it. But if you look within your heart and think it's really crappy, please stop. Just to be safe.

And to finalize my rambling about this, does anyone else go through their Google reader and sometimes just click through some of the unimportant blogs without reading them and you wonder why you don't just delete them once and for all? God I wish my heart wasn't so big!

And on the subject of blog, a really good one that I found recently is called Retro Space. To read it, click here.

As You All Know - I've Reached My Goal of 100 Followers

So here are the bloggers that helped me reach my goal of getting 100 followers. Thanks to them and ALL of the little people that read my blog (that's you I'm talking about). All these blogs are either bloggers that found me or blogs I found through the current blogs I read.

#95 - Artful Kisser - Oh yeah? Prove it.

#96 - Robot Nine -This is one of my new favorite blogs. Everyday, he shows nine images or nine videos on a related subject.

#97 - Mental Poo - He's got all kinds of crazy crap happening over there.

#98 - You're Out of Your Element Bethie - West Virginee DOES have internet access as this is where this blogger lives.

#99 - 180/360 - I used to read her blog but somehow her blog isn't in my Google Reader. So I'll add it now. And look at the avatar - vavavoom.

#100 - What Do The Voices Mean - I just started reading his blog about 2 weeks ago. Pretty funny.

IRL Friend Send Message To Blogger

Do you know what Friends IRL means? It means friends in real life. Don't feel stupid. I just found out myself a few weeks ago. Anyway, my friend Calhoun who is my friend IRL has the hots for Gwen the blogger. He left a message on his dart board while we were watching the Phillies last week - see picture above.

And on the subject of Gwen the blogger, she just announced she's taking a vacation from blogging for a while because of lack of enthusiasm and some other stuff. I wish she weren't but everyone needs a break now and again. Hopefully I'll keep up my pace of blogging at least once a day. My IRL friends always ask where I find the time to blog. What those dummies don't know is that it doesn't take that long. Here are some of the things I do so blogging doesn't take up tons of time:

1) I keep a few small notebooks around so I can jot down ideas when I think of them.
2) When I see an article in the paper I tear it out and put it on my desk.
3) I keep pictures that are post worthy in a file on my computer called Pics to Blog.
4) I have various videos to blog on my playlist in YouTube.
5) I look at Google Trends for the hot news stories.
6) I look at blogs you guys don't read and copy and paste the posts word for word. Then, I cleverly change one word with another. Like if the blogger was writing a post about Ted, my post is about Charlie.
7) I start several posts so I have a few that are ready to go.

So there are a few tips. What do you guys do?

Now I will throw out a few writing assignments. Anyone who wants to write a post on any of the following topics, let me know in the comments section of this post by midnight Thursday and I'll add a link to your post.
Here are some topics:

- A time you saw an old or fat person fall down the steps or break a chair.
- A time you saw someone faint.
- A time where someone put their foot in their mouth.
- Worst throw up story.
- Funny story of someone quitting their job.
- Craziest concert story.

There you go.

How To Read My Amazing Blog The Correct Way

I must take a quick second to thank my most favorite blogger, Falwless at Lots Better Than Your Blog. She wrote a post today about one of MY brilliant posts. Here's a clip of what she wrote:

So I'm at his blog on Monday and I'm looking back through the days-old entries and I reread the one with the YouTube of the Swedish lady licking the ice cream cone. And I get to the sentence "Some stupider and uglier people would have have tossed the whole cone into the trash can and left it for the yellow jackets." And as I get to the yellow jackets part, I realize that it is a link -- a link I had not noticed before. So I click it. And it opens this

She is a smart one that Falwless. But many of you readers aren't as bright, talented and in love with me as this lass. So I'd like to give you a few tips on how to maximize your reading pleasure at my award winning blog because it's not something that you just pick up and start reading.

Here are some tips:

1) Announce that you're going to read it to whomever is around you. If they don't hear you, you're not talking loud enough. Fashion a bullhorn out of a coned piece of paper. Speaking into the small side will somehow magically make your sound come out louder. (Don't worry, the loud sound will come out of the large side - so it can't hurt you).

2) Once some listeners crowd around, ask them to sit cross legged on the floor and tell them to pretend they're about to hear an old time radio broadcast. Make an old time arched radio out of cardboard and tape it to the back of your laptop to really give them a great effect. Think the Waltons. If one smart ass says something like, "Good night Mary Ellen", have this person removed immediately! Don't even let someone go disrepectin' this blog!
3) When you see words that are a different color, click on the word. This is a "link" and a crazy treat might pop up. It's like biting into a piece of hard candy and you break a tooth. You didn't expect your tooth to break but now you'll get some valuable tooth fairy money.

4) Change your voice at the parts where someone is talking. (Unless you're the man of a thousand voices like me, stick to the easy voices: John Wayne, gay guy or Jewish person - you know - any of the Robin Williams voices).

5) Once you get to the end, click on the "comments". This is an area that other readers - like you - can leave funny comments or praise for me. Are these commenters paid writers ? Nope. In fact, most are real people.
6) If you have something funny to say (or praise for me) consider leaving a comment. Don't just write anything. Do what all the commenters do which is brainstorm some ideas, then try the ideas out on a friend, a policeman or a member of the clergy. If the person is honest, they'll tell you if the comment is going to "work". If you do write something stupid and ruin the tone and tempo of this this blog, you will regret it. So make sure it's a comment worth reading.

7) And most of all, have fun and be safe. Now let's go do some That Blue Yak reading.
