Really sad about Amy Winehouse dying. I remember the first time I saw her on Letterman a few years ago and being blown away. I can't remember the last time I saw a musical act and I was so moved. Really. Maybe the Killers. But still.

And if you just sneak a peek you're like, "What a skank." But you look closer and there's something so sexy and chrasimatic and hypnotizing. Well..maybe to me. Here's the performance.

McDonalds Filet O Fish Features Lee From Tenacious D.

If you read my blog, you know that I'm a big Tenacious D fan. If you don't have the Tenacious D Masterworks you really need to get it.

The reason I'm showing this clip is that the actor that plays Lee in the new McDonalds commercial for the Filet O Fish was in the original Tenacious D shorts on Mr Show. And he performed at the concerts .

I Never Got My Gorilla Outfit. Cabdury Commercial. Phil Collins.

When I was a kid I always wanted a really good gorilla outfit. Not the really crappy ones that you would see on low budget TV shows. I always wanted a REALLY good one that looked real. I'm not kidding.

I always thought that if I had one I'd be able to do one of the best gorilla imitations ever.* Sadly, that day never came.

But on the gorilla subject, check out this gorilla playing drums to Phil Collins in this Cadbury commercial. I think he over does it a bit but....



*I did however have the pleasure of getting in an Easter Bunny outfit two years ago and I'm telling you..my costume pantomime was on the level of the Phillies Phanatic. I'm not kidding you.

Kid at West Chester McDonalds Needs To Watch This Film

So my son said he walks up to the McDonalds a few weeks ago on Gay Street in West Chester and he's greeted by the young cashier like this,

"So what the fuck do you want?"

I swear to God. My son didn't really give a crap but we do laugh every time we drive by that McDonalds now.

Sea Isle City Turtles Reminds Blogger About I Like Turtles Kid.

So when I was rescuing turtles in Sea Isle City this morning and putting them back in the bay I couldn't help thinking of the "I like turtles kid".

Well, it was actually someone else rescuing them put I was playing an important role by standing there, watching and saying, "I like turtles".
