Garlic Flavored Triscuits Are Downright Tasty! Crunch!

I normally don't like my crackers and chips flavored. Once in a while I'll go for BBQ flavored chips and I do like BBQ Frito's but other than that? No thanks.

But I had some Roasted Garlic flavored triscuits the other day - with some sharp cheddar on top and they were really good! It looks like the elves at Nabisco finally got off their asses and created something tasty.

And I think they're kind of healthy for you because they have fiber. I think they have fiber. I mean, the texture is kind of like the bark of tree in a way.

Who knows? What do I look like? The God damn surgeon general?

So check them out and let me know of any salty cracker or chips that you like in the comments area.

I've found them to be enjoyable, but after 6-8 crackers I get annoyed by the taste.

I like to break them in half and eat them that way.

- Is that a hint? Do you resemble a former surgeon general? http://profiles.nlm.nih.gov/QQ/B/B/S/W/

For the record, I'm not a chips or crackers guy.....strictly cake, brownies, chocolate and all that kinda crap. To me, it's the cheese on the cracker that matters, so I like 'em bland.

The garlic ones are good, but I'm more of an rosemary and olive oil Triscuit kind of gal. They taste great with a tiny dollop of cream cheese and a sprinkling of capers.

The Lady is right... the rosemary and olive oil ones are boss. I almost always have at least two boxes of triscuits on hand. Generally one plain and one of their newfangled flavors. Of course currently I have none because my exceedingly more and more worthless roommate decided to open up my last box, eat 3 or 4, and then leave them open all weekend. Thus rendering them RUINED. I'm going to fashion a sex toy out of his brain cavity with a rusty screwdriver and a claw hammer. F*cking F*ucktard.

Anyway, yeah Triscuits are grrrreat.

And after it got real quiet, and no one could think of anything else to say, the conversation turned to crackers....

Being a PA guy, you should be well aware of the glory that is Utz Salt & Vinegar chips or Utz Crab Chip or Utz Carolina BBQ. Utz makes the best chips. Period.

and IF they have fiber, AND you eat enough of them, You'll KNOW they have fiber in about 6 to 8 hours....(honestly, I'm surprised nobody went the scatological route earlier on in these posts!)

Rosemary and Olive Oil are my favorites. Tomato Basil flavor is gross (that applies to their Wheat Thin counterparts, too.)

Crotch Pains - I read that comment at work and laughed out loud.

Son of A - I'm now onto making fun of the Christians.

I'm being entirely serious when I say that the garlic flavored triscuits with either garlic hummus OR garlic and herbs soft cheese like Alloutte or something beginning with a B that eludes me is unbelievable! If you like garlic, that is. And you like your gums being beaten to a pulp.

I look forward to the making fun of the Christians.

Fancy - you know how I like to make fun of the Christians.

I'm alergic to Garlic. I know. It's sick. I'm Italian. It makes me barf instantly

Miss Alex - you're alergic to garlic???

How do you survive?

Actually, you do look a little like the Surgeon General in my imagination.

Fancy - Are you thinking of Boursin? Yum yum yum

I love me some Garlic Triscuits. And the kids won't touch 'em, so if I hide them in the pantry and don't show him they're there, I don't even have to share with my husband. Because he'd eat 'em all up, all at once. I like to dole them out and make a nice plate with about 10 crackers and 10 pieces of cheese and feel really fancy all alone watching DVRed Law and Order: Criminal Intents (D'Onofrio only, maybe some Goldblum)
