Goodbye Michael Jackson. Little Michael.

Do you believe Michael Jackson is dead?

Here's the Michael Jackson I want to remember....Little Michael.

What a super talent. Imagine if this were modern day and this performance was on American Idol . People would be blown away.

And I did also love Off The Wall and Thriller.

So there.

The young Michael, as well as Off the Wall (my favorite!) and Thriller Michael were just incomparable. I have taught my daughter to love that old Michael stuff, and even showed her some old videos on Youtube. She's a big fan.

He's not really dead.

If you hear anyone else say that remember that they stole my idea.

I thought for sure Walter Cronkite was next in that whole "death comes in 3's" thing. Which now only means we have to wait for him to drop, unless God has another bombshell from left field for us between now and then. What's he trying to do kill off anybody who I liked in the 1970's? (Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, MJ) They sure as hell killed Land of the Lost for me...

As for the "death comes in 3's" thing, somewhere out there Patrick Swayze is thanking his lucky stars.

Your a sweetie!! Michael was a great singer. When my family went to the rock in roll hall of fame, the museum had some items from the Jackson 5. My boys did not recognize Michael. They did not know the history of the Jackson family.

me too. though it seems like he's been dead for a long time. in fact, today i was reminded that he was still alive.

Remember when they had the "Jackson 5" 45's on the back of the "Alphabits" cereal boxes? I loved those. Collected all of them. "ABC... as easy as 1, 2, 3..."

So sad that he had to get so freaky (and mess up his beautiful nose) as he got older.

Yeah, back in those days he was great, but I also liked him very much in the Thriller period.

On CNN this morning they showed part of that interview where he tried to describe how he just slept with children not to do anything with them but just to "share the love." The interviewer was a British guy who was quite antagonistic but Michael just kept repeating "share the love."

I was laughing thinking these were like two people from different planets. They seemed to be of different species. Talk about eccentric.

As freaky as he was, he was still a great talent. Early stuff including Thriller are my favorites and he had some dance moves that blew me away.

An awesome musical talent who got really bad advice about plastic surgery.

I agree, the Michael I love has been gone for quite some time. But he is a legend. And his music will always be special to me.

Good job, Zibbsy. ;)

And it is sad...he was an icon, a legend, and died a misunderstood...weirdo, really.

But his talent, and the impact he had on music as we know it, is completely undeniable.

He ain't dead.... it's all just a clever marketing ploy for his up-coming tour: THE BACK FROM THE DEAD TOUR 2010.

or... they say he's like a half a billion in debt so he mostly faked his death and went underground like keyser soze.

About that 'dead comes in 3' thing...well, I was thinking that Elizabeth Taylor would be next...
She was (I don't know if she still was) close to MJ and because of her age, she might have something like : I lived a good life, 8 husbands and I think it's time to say that final goodbye ...

...
@lostaccident
who knows, maybe MJ is having drinks with Elvis and Lady Di and they all have a blast !
