Mirror on People in Bathroom. College Nonsense and Fire. Dump.

I loved living in the dorms in college. To annoy people on my floor, if someone was in a bathroom stall, I'd say, "Get your mirrors. Someone's in the bathroom!"

We'd all grab mirrors, sneak in and quietly reach the mirrors around so we could see the person sitting on the toilet. The victim would look up and down and realize five people were looking at him. The shock on the person's face was always hysterical.

Then it got worse. We'd then have someone try and grab the guy's legs. We'd reach a broom over the top of the stall and hit him on the head. Dump water over the top. It just kept getting more and more ridiculous. So much so that people would go to another floor if when they had to take a dump.

I guess what made it so funny was that the person was so vulnerable. There's nothing you really can do to fight back.

Then, the tipping point happened when my friend Steve was in stall #4 and I lit a piece of paper on fire and threw it in the stall. I hear screaming, "What the hell?? WHAAA!!!"

It wasn't Steve's voice. It was some dude that I didn't really know that well. I did know he had a bad temper though. So I jump back out of the bathroom, into my room and slowly close my door. I left it open a crack and peared out. I'm nosey like that.

So who comes walking down the hall? Steve. Innocently walking to his room. The only thing that could have been better would have been if he were whistling. He had no idea that someone just had their eyebrows singed by a fireball. The dude comes barreling out of the bathroom, grabs Steve and yells, "What the hell are you doing???"

I'm not sure what happened next because I slowly shut my door. I didn't want to get caught I guess since I was recently told that in an RA meeting they said I should be watched because they thought I was "twisted".

Who me?

Fire at Exton Station! Blogger Captures Amazing Photos

Today is July 2, 2008 and there's a fire in West Whiteland's Exton Station. Firstly, I'd like to thank the Fire Fighters for their brave work. And secondly the courage of a person you may know as Dr Zibbs. That's correct, it's me - the CEO of Chester County's That Blue Yak. And I'm giving myself this exclusive interview:

DrZibbs (interviewer): When did you know there was a fire? Were you in danger at anytime?

Dr Zibbs (CEO): Great questions. I was traveling toward the Wawa on Greenhill Road as you can see above. I reached for my blackberry and although I was not eating in the car at the time, I could have been...well..who knows what could have happened.

Dr Zibbs (interviewer): What happened next?

Dr Zibbs: (CEO): I followed the fire engines - I believe one of the West Chester departments to the scene. There were already other stations there.
Dr Zibbs (interviewer): Did you help with the fire or save any lives? Also, what is your background in photography? These photos are breath taking!

Dr Zibbs (CEO): I don't recall - it all happened so quickly. As for the photos, they are something aren't they. I'll probably donate them to a local museum or the Chester County Historical Society. I guess it all depends on what perks I may be offered. You know how those bidding wars can go.
Dr Zibbs (Interviewer): Thanks Dr Zibbs, or should I say, Dr Hero?

Small Fire At Westtown Dog Park

A small fire broke out a few days ago at the Westtown Dog Park on Route 100 as this amazing photography shows. That Blue Yak Barney Lipps was getting a 24 oz Wawa coffee, 2 hostess apple pies, a Slim Jim, a pack of Big Red, an egg sandwich and krimpets, (for later) when he noticed the Fire trucks.
"I was gonna see if they needed my help but it looked like things were already under control. Plus, I saw a dalmatian down in the fenced in dog area and figured that the dog might be able to help and stuff."
The fire, apparently burning in a trash can, was extinguished without incident. There were no deaths.

Huge Fire Rages on Boot Road - Area Supermarkets Issue Statement

As a fire raged at the corner of Boot Road and Copeland School Road this afternoon, the Chester County Supermarket alliance issued the following statement: WE ARE OUT OF MARSH MELLOWS!

Robert Norris, Exton Acme Manager announced the following to crowds outside of the Whiteland Town Center in Exton via bullhorn,

"Listen people, there are no more marsh mellows. We have a few boxes of peeps and we will be auctioning them off at around 2:30. We will be accepting cash only"

The fire raged at 1:00 Friday in West Whiteland. That Blue Yak receptionist Betsy Griffin captured these amazing photos after picking up the last bag of marsh mellows at Wegmans in Downingtown and "popping home quickly to make sure her iron was turned off."
