My Mommy Got Me A New Pillow For Christmas. Fluffy.

You read that post title correctly. My mommy got me a new pillow for Christmas. And as I wrote on Twitter: "..it works great! I'm gonna call it Lil' Fluff - the pillow who believed in love."

See. You need to follow me on twitter (@DrZibbs) or you'll miss all the pillow related news that I may tweet about. Imagine hearing this news an hour ago? Instead, you're just hearing it now. It's kind of sad if you think about it.

So anyways. The pillow works great. It's super fluffy. My old pillow was such a dick. It was all flat and used up. If I was ridiculous enough to name an OLD pillow I'd probably call it something like "Pete the pillow that dreamed of being a pancake..and did".

And it's true. It's like someone broke into my house every night then brought Pete outside and ran him over with a steam roller. Everyday it seemed to get flatter and flatter. There's really no other explaination I can think of. Can you?

I've been complaining about my pillow for a few years but when I wake up, I never seem to remember how crappy it is and then drive to a store and buy a new pillow. And that's pretty bad if you think about it because it means that I've forgotten the same thing, everyday for like 1200 days IN A ROW!

Oh my God. Once I see it in writing that's pretty bad. Let me read that over again.

Yup. That's pretty bad.

Twitter Tweet Up In West Chester Tonight. Chester County. Thanksgiving Eve.

So there is a Twitter Tweet-Up tonight in West Chester at Barnabys. 5:30 until whenever.

Can you imagine the excitement of the attendees? Because they get to meet me? I wonder if they even slept last night. Do you think? Probably not. Here are a few guidelines that I'll be printing on flyers for my adoring fans. Take a few minutes to memorize them before entering the lair* that I'm sure is being built for me as we speak:

- Always remember, when in conversation with me, I like to dictate the tone and pace.

- When listening to one of my hilarious tales, you may think of something that YOU want to add. That is fine. If time allows. (You may want to jot a quick note so you don't forget what your "interesting" story is). If you think the story isn't that interesting, rehearse it with a friend or member of the clergy in the bathroom. Ask them to be honest with you as to whether they think it's something I would want to listen to.

- On first approach, don't look me directly in the eye.

- If you have a gift to present to me, make sure to flaunt it to the others before giving it to me. It will give them a chance to run out and get me a gift so they don't look like a fools.

-Please, no photography. As I've stated before, I will allow charcoal sketches of me and construction paper art as long as the glitter is used at a minimum. There will be scales available for the weight of your glitter. I think it's two ounces. Ask one of my handlers if you don't know how to weigh things. They'll be happy to help.

- But most of all, enjoy yourself.

And if you're wondering why he gets the money from TBY stuff it's because he did the art for free and I told him if I ever start selling a lot of stuff I'll just dump him. It happens.

Zippo Lighter Apple Iphone App Is Pretty Cool. Pretty Cool.

As many of my blog readers know, I collect Zippo lighters. I'm a fan. You may not know that I'm also a fan of my Blackberry Pearl. Best phone ever.

One of the reasons I love the Blackberry is that it's small. And unless you're walking around with huge pockets, I can't see lugging the Iphone around as a dude - even though it's pretty cool.

What am I getting to? Well I just saw this cool, free iphone application on the Youtube for the Zippo lighter. It's not enough to make me buy an Iphone but it's pretty cool. Here it is:



And as I've mentioned before - if you would like to buy me a Zippo because you think it will help to buy my friendship? You my friend are very bright because it will. You will automatically be moved to "Dr Zibbs Code Red Friend Status". I'm not kidding. Just email me and tell me you want to send me one.

Wow! I Can't Believe This Christmas Morning!

A plane? Seriously everyone. You went way overboard. I don't know who organized it but when I went out in my front yard this morning and there was a That Blue Yak plane? I couldn't believe it. Thanks!

Now I'm not trying to be an ingrate but fuel is very expensive. Are there gift cards hidden somewhere for jet fuel that I should know about?

Last Minute Christmas Ideas For Cheap People

So I'm sure everyone's about to start their Christmas Shopping. Here are a few gift ideas that will save you a bit of time and money:

1) Make a phony, "I named a star after you " certificate. Go to the window, look up and say, "..there she is..nope..sorry..there she is. Right there. Next to that one. Yeah. She is a beauty." Are they really going to check?

2) What can you wrap around your house? This is a tough one as it's best to actually stage a burglary and steal some select items. Then, rewrap the gifts you stole and write on the card that you searched everywhere to find the exact items and that maybe this is the greatest Christmas ever because "someone can steal 'things' but they can't steal my heart". (This makes no sense but they'll be so excited they won't even think about your babble).

3) Simply write, "The magic of Christmas - believe" on construction paper. Write it in a fancy font and when they open it, put your hand on the back of their head and say, "I believe. Do you?" Then look into the distance. This will only work on artsy type of people. Most people will say, "Oh I believe. I believe you better go get my damn present." So think this one out.

4) Write, "The gift of........" on a piece of paper. As they read it, motion the homeless people that you've threatened with jail time to come in and start dancing. When they're finished with their train wreck of a dance, turn to the person you gave the gift to and say, "I think it is the thought that counts. Don't you?"

Gift Cards, Craft Brew, Deals and Chester County

I'm not sure if I'll be doing much Christmas shopping on Black Friday or even this weekend but in case I do, has anyone heard of any great deals at stores or online? I'm like one of the lady's when it comes to finding the ultimate deals on things.

If you're in the Chester County area, I know that Kildare's Irish Pub is selling half price gift cards until 7 tonight. I'll be picking up one of those for myself. Now if I'm doing my math correctly, that means that if I use the card during their happy hours I'll be getting $1.50 craft brew pints. Uhh huhh.
