Artie Lange Book - I Give It My Approval

I used to be a major Howard Stern fan. For years, I had a fifty minute commute. When my commute ended and the show went to Sirius Satellite Radio I stopped listening. I do miss the show.

I did however just finish reading the Artie Lange book, "Too Fat To Fish". I read the ENTIRE book. It was pretty good, even if you're not a Stern fan because he only talks about the Stern Show in a few chapters.

Much of the book is about his ridiculous cocaine use. There are some really funny stories about him working on MAD TV as well as some good stuff about his stand-up days and growing up in general. He's just one of those naturally funny, likable guys.

That there - is my fascinating review. If you want to see his appearance on Letterman, click here.

You read the ENTIRE book?

Well, congratulations my man! ;)

(I hate Stern, but Lange was the funniest part of the show in my book)

B.E.Earl - not only did I read the ENTIRE book, I read it "to myself" and without moving my lips. AT. ALL.

I've been wanting to read this. I love Artie. Shame what he's done to himself.

I would read it, but it would take too much time away from my porn habit.

Philly - You can apply for the job of being the blogs manual spam deleter but I never want to waste another precious 10 minutes to do that again.

Do you know how many lives I can change in 10 minutes. 2. And if they're unimportant lives - 4.

I liked Howard Stern's early stuff. Once he went to T.V., it all went to his overly sexist head and he got really boring.
I have no idea who A.L. is.

I, too, had to give up Stern when he switched to satellite. I thought I would miss it more but I don't. Artie was my favorite on the show and I wish he would take better care of himself.
