Norah Jones Little WIllies - I Love This Group

I love Norah Jones. She one of my favorite female voices of all time. If you haven't heard of The Little Willies, it's another group she's in with a bunch of her friends. I love every song on the album - which is rare. It's one of the albums I like to listen to on my ipod while lying in bed.

And like her other albums, it produced in a way that is perfect for listening to with headphones. Her voice is so smooth it just turns me to mush. Here she is performing live at The Living Room in NYC.

And this Friday send off song is dedicated to Greta, Morgan the Muse and Susan. Go check out their blogs and tell them Dr Zibbs sent you.

You lie on your bed with your I-pod and turn into mush, huh? Sexy.

Hey, by the way, how was your birthday? And just how many bloggy birthday greetings did you get? (spoiled!!)

Cora - (humbly) Yes, it is pretty sexy.

As for the birthday greetings, there were a lot of them but I will admit that yours was probably my favorite. And I had my biggest traffic day. 490 visitors. Thanks.

If your willie's little it just looks that way because your hands are big, that's what I always console myself with.

Oh wait, it's a BAND? I knew that.

I love Norah Jones and if y'all want to continue to love her don't ever watch her in "My Blueberry Nights". We turned it off after just a few minutes because I knew it would tarnish my view of her forever.

One Norah Jones moment that stands out for me is I was in a very loud, busy Winners store (Canadian counterpart to TJ MAXX) and over the intercom was the usual Musakish crap. Then Norah Jones came on singing, "Come away with me" and the store literally went silent. People stopped and just listened, even the screaming brats shut up. It was golden and still gives me goosebumps thinking about it.

(blushing profusely) Awww shucks.

Why, thank you for the song dedication!

Uhm... I have never listened to Nora Jones before in my life. That I know of. :S Hope this does not make my dedication null and void.

*takes award and runs out the door*
(Yes, there is an award. I just said so. Don't touch me!)

Bought the CD when it came out. Really like the "Lou Reed" song.

Oh my goodness, Doctor. Your Friday send off is the cure to what ails me.

Thank you! And might I just say your taste in music and movies is impeccable. I love it.

I have never heard of this band either, although the title cracks me up. Thanks! I love Norah Jones and it's cool to hear her in a different group.
