Hot Diggity Dog Hot Dog Post

Red Hots. Wieners. Hot Diggity Dogs. These are secret code words used in the Spanish American war for the tasty hot dog...... I think. I was just watching the history of the hot dog on the food channel and now I've got a craving for a Jimmy John's hot dog on West Chester pike. Natural cased dogs mind ye. I like to get one with kraut and mustard and the other with onion and mustard. I'm not sure if they're open on Sunday so I'll have to call them.

If you like hot dogs check out Hollyeats.com - she has a great page dedicated just to hot dogs. Most of the reviews are for PA, NJ and the Mid Atlantic states but she has a few other states mixed in there too.

Now enjoy this unappetizing drive-in movie hot dog commercial.

There's a place here, Denton's, that makes great fresh chili cheese coneys that are the best I've ever had. Fortunately they've never spoken to me, like that one in the video, that would be disturbing.

Remember the drive in movie snack bar jingle?

Lets go up to the snack bar,
Lets go up to the snack bar,
more stuff follows that I can't remember because I was always drinking heavily...

Skyler's Dad - I think the end is something like, "And buy ourselves a treat."

That was mental.

I loved the music, though.

I drove past them today and noticed that they are open on Sundays.

BBQB - thanks. I made the mistake of having a hotdog today at Harry's Hotdogs at the Exton mall. It was just plain, grilled hotdog.

In the city where I live Jimmy John's is a chain of sub shops, but this town is also lousy with places to get chili dogs at all hours of the day or night, so thankfully, I'm covered hotdog-wise.

Jimmy John's. Now I'm officially homesick for that area. I loved that place.
Make sure to swing in to the Red Sombrero sometime, also, just a little ways up the road (North)...in the shopping center behind the Starbucks. Excellent Mexican food and if you can order in Spanish they will HOOK YOU UP. Or maybe that was cause I'm a girl.
They have a homemade salsa bar.

The one up 100, the big shopping center on the right. Near St Max's church and Ginormo Presbyterian on the other side. Just after the light where the creepy hotel & equally creepy Italian restaurant used to be.

I thought the song was "Lets all go to the lobby... lets all go to the lobby... lets all go to the lobby to get ourselves a snack"

maybe I heard the ghetto verson, huh?
